—This is your first appearance in CLASSY. Could you introduce yourself?

I’m MINNIE, one of the main vocalists of i-dle. I love cute things, especially Kuromi!

—Which i-dle song would you recommend to CLASSY. readers?

I’d recommend ‘Super Lady’. I think it’s the kind of song that naturally gives you confidence. I hope everyone who listens to it can become a ‘Super Lady’, too.

—Is there an i-dle song or lyric that has personally helped or encouraged you?

There are so many, but I’d choose ‘Mono (Feat. skaiwater)’. It carries the message of “looking at your true self.” It’s about accepting yourself just as you are—embracing both your strengths and your weaknesses—and learning to love even the parts of yourself that may feel incomplete. The lyrics remind us that what’s inside is more important than appearance, and they give me strength as well.

—Have you ever felt overwhelmed by trying too hard to live up to other people’s expectations?

Of course. I always want to do my best and continue growing, so every comeback comes with a certain amount of pressure. Even so, I believe that as long as we stay true to what we want to do, we’ll be able to keep going for a long time. One of our goals is to continue performing together for many years. I hope the five of us can stay united as i-dle, talk through what we want to do, and keep moving forward together.

—Finally, do you have a message for your fans in Japan who are looking forward to seeing you perform?

This tour has a completely different and refreshing atmosphere compared to last year’s Japan tour. I can’t wait to see everyone! And of course, I’m also looking forward to visiting lots of delicious restaurants in Japan. (Laughs)
